| It started its activity in early 1991 by participating in Transportes Urbanos de Zaragoza (now the Grupo Avanza), Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona and Sarbus, in order to offer emblematic transport services in the city of Barcelona, including: the Aerobús, the Portbús, the Tibibus, the Port-Zal, the Tren Turístic de Montjuïc and transport for the severely disabled. |
USER'S DEFENDER |
· The transport for people with severely reduced mobility is intended for those who have any kind of physical or mental disability that prevents them from using conventional public transport. Additionally, charter services are available for those with severe disabilities.
· The Portbús transports passengers arriving in Barcelona on cruise ships to the Portal de la Pau.
· The Tibibus is a line that connects Mount Tibidabo with the center of Barcelona.

In 1994, Transports Ciutat Comtal was granted the public transport in Vilanova i La Geltrú and in 1998, the public transport in Sitges. The companies Autobuses Horta, S.A. . (which carries out lines 86 and 87 of the urban service in the Horta district) and Autocars A. Girona, S.A. (which performs the urban service in Vilafranca de Penedés and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia) also form part of the Grup Transports Ciutat Comtal. |
